Carolyn's Quiltworks Retreat 1st, 2nd & 3rd June 2012. 3 days of sewing Galore! for $100.00 - 10am to 4pm Friday and Saturday 10am until 3pm Sunday . Easy morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Mystery Quilt on Saturday cost $75. Plenty of fun and laughter to be had, if accommodation is needed we can put you in contact with a local motel. phone or email carolyn@carolynsquiltingroom.com.au for bookings.

The bad news is that Carolyn's will be closed on both Sunday and Monday starting next week, that is, from Sunday and Monday the 6th and 7th of May. As always, if you are travelling through or have a group organised please phone and Carolyn will do her best to accomodate you if it is possible.
The good news is that this will give Carolyn more time to develop and stitch her designs and keep the Blocks of the Month moving along.
More good news is that, after encouragement from customers at the AQC in Melbourne, Carolyn is taking the shop to the Sydney Quilt Show.

Patchwork quilts have taken me from entering in local exhibitions to prestigious State Guild of Victoria, The Victorian Quilters Showcase and Australian Quilt Conventions in Melbourne to the International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas with my prize winning quilts. I have turned my hobby into a business with the creation of my website three years ago, which has helped my business grow with orders from overseas and customers in country Australia. Recently, I opened a larger shop at my home at 85 Brewer Drive, Wodonga, and it is here that I am selling fabrics, patterns, kits, books and sewing notions along with Shepherd's Bush cross stitch designs, Needle Punch accessories and The Wall Sticker Company. Quilting magazines often feature my quilts and how to make them, this January I have planned retreats here and my shop is always open, Tuesday to Friday between 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm, coffee and tea is readily available. There is a large car/bus parking area in the beautiful shade gardens overlooking Wodonga.

Thankyou! The next Reproduction Fabric Club shipment will be the May 2012.
We are offering a new fabric club. It is called the Fat 8th club, where instead of getting 10 fat 16th ‘s, you get a fat 8th of the same fabric. This costs $130 a year including postage (Australian Residents only). We also have a vintage club which will be posted out 6 times a year with 16 fat 16ths (one meter each mailing) of one collection.
