Delivery

Generally orders will be dispatched within 7 days of receiving the order, by post. There is the option of selecting either regular post or Express Post. For Paypal payments and direct deposits, orders will be dispatched almost immediately; for cheque payments orders will be shipped once the cheque has cleared.

If shipping is to be delayed for any reason (such as unavailability of an item) you will be notified of this as soon as possible.

Guarantee/Refunds

We stand behind the quality of all the items which we supply. In the event that you are dissatisfied with any item, you may contact us to arrange its return. The returned item must be in its original condition (not cut, washed or dyed) for a refund or credit to your account to be applied, and must be returned within 14 days of you receiving your order. Return shipping charges should be prepaid. Shipping charges will never be refunded, except where we have shipped an item in error. Even then, a refund for shipping will only be given if we are unable to supply the correct item or a satisfactory substitute. The original invoice or a copy must accompany all returns. After a return has been received, it may take up to five business days to process. If payment was by credit card or direct deposit, a refund will be credited to your account. If payment was by cheque or money order, a refund cheque will be posted to you.

Some items, such as books and patterns, cannot be returned under any circumstances. Orders for such items are final so please choose carefully and if necessary contact us for advice before ordering.

Privacy statement

Carolyn's Quilting Room will not collect and/or retain any personal information except for that information knowingly supplied by yourself when you either purchase a product or make an enquiry. Any such information will be used only to ensure proper billing and delivery of your order, in accordance with the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988.

Your personal information will never be released to a third party without your consent.

Carolyn's Quilting Room is committed to security and will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of all personal information retained. We will not send you email or mail advertising information unless you have agreed or requested to receive it (such as by joining our Fabric Club). You may withdraw from such services at any time by advising us via email.

Pricing/Payment

All prices and charges are quoted in Australian dollars and include 10% GST. Freight charges shown are for Australian destinations only. Overseas customers are very welcome to order but will need to contact us to establish the correct charges before the order is processed (a note in the comment field requesting confirmation of the order total before it is processed is sufficient in most cases). Freight charges will be higher to overseas locations, but overseas customers do not pay GST so item prices will be lower than those shown.

Payment methods accepted include credit card via PayPal™, phone through order with credit card payment, bank deposit or (for Australian customers only) cheque/money order.
